    Daorong New Energy Medium-temperature Solar Collector Tube Shipped to Tibet

    Recently, medium-temperature solar collector tubes produced by Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Daorong New Energy) were shipped to Tibet and will be used for the heating of the Tibet Museum's renovation and expansion project.


    This batch of medium-temperature solar collector tubes has a single length of 2 meters, a steel pipe diameter of 40 mm, and a cover glass tube of 95 mm, which can provide a heat source of 150-300°C.

    Tibet Museum’s reconstruction and expansion project has a total investment of 660 million yuan, which is the largest project in Tibet that uses a complete solar heating system. The construction goal of the project is to build a domestic first-class and internationally influential characteristic museum. The number of visitors will reach 7,000 per day after the project is completed.


    The central hall of the new building covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters, and the project is about to create many firsts in Tibetan architecture. It will be the largest project in Tibet that use a complete solar heating system, rigid steel structures and the large-span steel truss for the first time. It is also the first golden roof project with daylighting and automatic opening ventilation. The reconstruction and expansion will comprehensively enhance the public service function of the Tibet Museum and further improve the conditions of cultural relics collection.

    Daorong New Energy invested 150 million yuan in Jiayu Science and Technology Industrial Park in Weixian County, Hebei, to build a production line of medium and high temperature vacuum heat collectors with an annual output of 200,000 sets and independent intellectual property rights. The company's main business is the design, development and manufacturing of medium and high temperature vacuum collector tubes. Its core processes include coating, fusion sealing, assembly welding, and high temperature exhaust. The heat collector tube is of high quality. After testing, the main technical parameters of the product have reached the international advanced level.
